Tell Us - How Do You “Do More With Less”?

DO MORE WITH LESS ENTRIES ENTER THE CONTEST CONTEST RULES

CONTEST EXTENDED TO MAY 7th

We all know that times have changed. Gone are the “good old days” of the dotcom bubble. Gone are the free catered lunches, the first class tickets, the team building event, the big bonuses and the incentive trips. Last year’s holiday party was most likely a potluck. Even an increase in salary is a rare occurrence.

But, as they say, “when the times get tough, the tough get going”. And that’s what most of you did. Despite all the bad news, most of you have figured out a way to survive and even thrive in the “downturn”. To use another cliché, “necessity is the mother of invention” so you’ve been inventing and implementing new ways to do more with less so you can make it through.

Well, we’d like to hear those ideas and so would your EDA brethren. We think that the best way for the EDA industry to survive and thrive is to band together and help each other out.

That’s why we created the “Do More With Less” Contest.

Share your ideas and the methods you’ve used to “Do More With Less” in your company. We’ve created a special place on our site where you can post your text, audio, video, or whatever describes your idea the best. The idea can be trivial or earth shattering. It can save pennies or it can save millions. You can describe it in cold hard facts or you can make a funny video. The important thing is to share your idea so others can benefit and you can benefit from their ideas.

And if you do, you could win a FREE Xuropa Cloud Application Server and Collaboration Environment! Your worldwide market can securely trail and evaluate your tool hands-on via the cloud with no one getting on a plane or downloading anything…for FREE! How about that for doing more with less!

Eligible entries can win the Grand Prize of a full year Xuropa On-Demand Basic Application Server and Collaboration Environment. And 3 others will win a Xuropa On-Demand Basic Application Server and Collaboration Environment for 2-months to use during and after the Design Automation Conference. So even if you’re not going to have a booth there, you can have a demonstration ready to go in meetings, in the corridors, wherever you have an internet connect!

Follow the links below to enter the contest or to view the entries that have already been submitted. You have until the end of April May 7th, 2010 to enter.
